UBS purchases Moermansk 400 and Moermansk 500 in Amsterdam’s Houthavens district

On behalf of a pan-European Real Estate club, UBS Asset Management has purchased the new build developments Moermank 400 and Moermansk 500. The buildings are located at the end of the Moermanskkade in the Houthavens in Amsterdam. Both Moermansk 400 and Moermansk 500 are approximately 5,000 sq. m. in size, each divided into four to five floors. There is also plenty of parking space. Moermansk 400 was designed by ZZDP architects and Moermansk 500 was designed by OZ architects. Both projects have a phenomenal view of the Minerva harbour and Amsterdam’s largest waterfront, ‘t IJ.

Construction on both buildings will commence in the first quarter of 2018. One year later Moermansk 400 and Moermansk 500 will be delivered to the purchaser.
The Houthavens is a place where a huge change is taking place. Redevelopment of the area started in 2010. Since then, the Houthavens has become an attractive location for both work and residency. Van Gool Elburg initiated and structured this transaction on behalf of UBS.
