UBS Asset Management acquires iconic office building ‘Aurora’ in Amsterdam

UBS Asset Management (UBS-AM) acquired on behalf of one of their client mandates office building Aurora in the city center of Amsterdam.

Aurora was constructed in 1968 and originally designed by Dutch architect Piet Zanstra. The building was initially built for life insurance company Aurora and is therefore named hereafter.

The building comprises approximately 9,678 sq office space and retail space and is let to leading tenants, with Booking.com occupying the office space and outdoor specialist Bever leasing the ground floor retail space.

UBS-AM was commercially advised by Van Gool Elburg Vastgoedspecialisten.
