UBS Asset Management acquires iconic office building ‘Aurora’ in Amsterdam

UBS Asset Management (UBS-AM) has acquired the Aurora office building in the centre of Amsterdam on behalf of one of its funds.

Built in 1968, Aurora was originally designed by Dutch architect Piet Zanstra. At the time, the building was constructed for life insurance company Aurora, and bears the name Aurora for this reason.

The building comprises approximately 9,678 sq. m. office space and retail space and has been leased to leading tenants. Booking.com leases the office space and outdoor specialist Bever occupies the retail space on the ground floor.
