ASML acquires key development site in final phase of Westfields Logistics Area
SDK Vastgoed, part of VolkerWessels, and the Municipality of Oirschot have announced the final phase of the Westfields logistics area development. The project will transform a 68,000 m² plot into a state-of-the-art logistics hub, complete with sustainable infrastructure and modern facilities.
High-tech leader ASML, a global pioneer in advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment, will establish a cutting-edge distribution center on the site. This expansion enhances ASML’s logistics capacity and solidifies the Brainport region’s status as a global innovation hotspot.
Construction is set to begin in mid-2025 and will include features such as a biodiversity-promoting green corridor and a mobility hub connected to the future Brainport line.
